The atomic bomb changed the world forever that's why different countries are afraid of other countries because they don't know how powerful their army/ nuclear power. The women of the war changed jobs/work in America they worked in factories producing things for war. The major question that people ask is what happened when ww2 was over and all the men came back from war? Did they keep their jobs. The thing is that they got fired or got asked to leave because all the men came back to america they needed jobs. The women still had jobs as secretaries or waitresses they were often called the pink collar workforce the jobs that they had didn't pay as much but the thing is that women didn’t take these jobs because they needed it, they took them because they wanted to keep working. Over 60 million people died in WW2 that's about 3% of the world's population. Now here's a story about my great grandma's uncle his nickname was uncle cornelius he was a prisoner of war in WW2 he was originally announced M.I.A. but it turns out he was actually a prisoner of war a P.O.W. it took him months to come home on ship, And his brother uncle dutch (he was named dutch because when he was a baby people called him it and the name just stuck)
