Negative Stereotypes About African Americans

Over the years many stereotypes about African Americans have been created. Some stereotypes are positive, while others are negative. African Americans have learned to deal with these statements. Some of these stereotypes were created when slavery was still around in America. African American stereotypes usually have something to do with their skin color and how they act. These stereotypes have hurt many African Americans because of what it meant. While there are a lot of negative stereotypes about African Americans, there are many positive stereotypes about blacks as well. African Americans are most likely proud of the positive stereotypes because it symbolizes great features about them. Even though there are many stereotypes about African Americans, both positive and negative, there are little proof to support it. The stereotypes that have been created about African Americans have no record to validate their truth.
