The Protests Question: The Black Lives Matter movement claims they are protesting for equal rights from police. What is your opinion on the way they are protesting, and do you think their full intention is equality? Response: First off, I do not think that what they are doing is not a very effective way of protesting. I may have protested violently when I was young, but i know realize that I was foolish and arrogant. Destroying possessions and creating havoc is a good way to grab attention, not a good way to make people listen. On the topic of equality I think they are fighting for equality, but they are also trying to prove a point. The BLM are trying to show that they do not want …show more content…
to be treated badly. They don't want to be treated differently than “other people.”
The Reason Question: Do you think that the BLM movement have a legitimate reason to protest, or did the media start this whole movement? Response: Yes, I do think they have a reason to protest, but they don't have the right one.
They are protesting because they believe that they are being treated unfairly, when in truth, everyone is treated the same. People think that just because something bad happens to them, that the world is unfair. When in fact, the world in very fair. The world is giving everybody chances all the time, and it is their choice to take that chance, or not. The BLM movement is full of the people who have taken the wrong chances. The media also has a lot to do with this movement. They are feeding this movement with over exaggerated stories. The media is playing with this movement, when in reality, there is more violence between the population and itself than the population against the
police. Question: Last question, you said that the Black Lives Matter protesters believe that they do not have the same equality as whites do. In reality, does everybody have the same amount of equality as anybody else? Response: I believe that there are classes of equality. The more wealthy are on the top of the pyramid. The get treated with the highest respect, and for good reason. Most of them had worked all of their lives to get there. Then there are the working class. Most of the people there worked all of their life to get there. Then at the bottom, there is the poverty population. Most of these people have worked all their life, and the end up here. You see, all these people have worked all of their lives, yet they are treated differently. We are all the same, and we should be treated like that. I said most people, some people have not worked at all, and they still got where they are. These are the people that should be treated differently, for they have not worked for their position in the pyramid. These are the people that should be treated without equality.
