Networking technology is able to help the everyday lives of the general population. Networking technology and the Internet have expanded the way in which information can be delivered to the people of today. Networking is taking one or more computers and/or printers and connecting them in such a way that they can communicate with each other and share information. Networking is one of the most significant steps in the electronic evolution since the invention of the PC. There are several different types of networks. The networks that I will discuss are Virtual Private Network, Wireless networking and Voice over IP. Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a type of networking. VPN enables a user to connect to remote LANs into functional network. Wireless networking is a quickly growing trend in the technology field. In a wireless network data is broadcasted over the air using radio waves that travel between client devices, or stations and access points. VoIP will eventually grow to become a standard across the globe, but as the way the Internet has grown to be the
