Never Speak English By Cisneros Analysis

There are many difficulties that the people from that culture may face. If they come here all alone then they can’t count on anyone and won’t know who to trust. People from a different culture probably won’t know English, so that’s a problem because if they can’t communicate they won’t be able to ask someone a basic question or even tell someone that they need help. In the story, for example, “He wasn’t her boyfriend or anything like that. Just another brazer who didn’t speak English.” ( Cisneros pg. 66 ) In that example it shows that they couldn’t get to know each other very well because he couldn’t speak English.
