Safety: You as guys would know how sensitive the privates are, but women (if you’re reading this) should know that penis and the scrotum are the most vulnerable part of the male body that needs the utmost care. In fact safety here has two sides of the same coin. The first aspect of safety is where while playing the package can get hurt (men’s jockstrap underwear is a must here) and the other safety is from the heat and sweat. Hence, men should wear underwear.…

Uniforms are a bad idea because they limit our freedom of expression. Currently, the school has a dress code that says "no big logos or words on shirts or shorts," small logos, including those on soccer jerseys, are permitted. If the school replaces that with uniforms, we will have even less control. Uniforms might give the school a little bit more control over small fights about what is on shirts, but we have not had any fights about what's on shirts in my history at Maclay school. If Maclay adds school uniforms to the dress code every student on campus will look the…

An issue that is often debated is whether or not sports uniforms worn by women purposefully lead to sexual harassment. Looking at all evidence, my claim is that women’s sports uniforms do not purposefully lead to sexual harassment, due to the fact that uniforms for every sports, including women’s, are made in specific ways. They are made in these ways for maximum movement and flexibility, for sex appeal, and to keep up with cultural norms. All of these reasons come from a variety of sports.…

The use of a non-fictional person provides for more of a personal touch for teams. This personalization for teams, if eliminated, would destroy the culture of a school or fan-base (Cummings, 2008). Teams would not intentionally be named after Native Americans if people would hold them in contempt, but rather be used to associate Americans with the spirituality of Native American heritage, while providing widespread coverage of this culture (Wright, 2007). In terms of financial means, proponents have argued that names have been in place for so long with very little successful appeal, so if a change were to occur then it would destroy merchandise sales for the school or team. For many institutions and organizations there would be loss of millions of dollars in trademark changeover or cancellation on merchandise and apparel, while current merchandise would become obsolete (Emert, 2003). Regardless of the…

Replica kits have become big business, and although the youngsters [mostly] who buy the shirts might pay more attention to whether or not they have the name ‘McManaman’ or ‘Fowler’ on the back, they will be carrying the Carslberg logo around with them every time they dress in the colours of their heroes.…

Jerseys in the 1930s were very plain usually one color with very little or mostly no design with just one word on it and a number. The 1930s was a big year for the making of jerseys because the poly-nylon blend was invented. It made them much lighter and less hot to play in. The new blend started a new age for basketball jerseys. (“Basketball Uniform History”, 2016)…

The first type of media we are going to use is event sponsorship to reach to sports fanatics and older men and women. Year around there are bowling leagues and softball leagues and soccer leagues that need to have team sponsors in order to pay for their equipment. This would be a perfect way to get our logo on a jersey and to promote coming to hang out after the game. I know that if I was sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings that me and the boys would head to our sponsors place after the game.…

    I. Blood sweat and tears have been shed in this jersey. I have battled in this Jersey, for God, this school and my team. All my life I have played soccer with the goal to never "plateau" or to stop getting better, to always achieve the next level. I have played soccer since I was four years old and this jersey embodies my experiences up to this point. This jersey represents not only soccer, but my accomplishments, my defeats, my passion, my hatred, the impact it has had on my life, and much more. But most importantly this jersey represents God in my life, and how soccer has been the catalyst for God to minister through me.…
