Although, New York City looks fun and has different things to do for a good night out, things tend to be a little pricey.
New York tends to be the largest municipal and regional economy considered in the United States of America. The economy in New York Is controlled by Wall Street. Let alone the metropolitan subway system that has generated just about 1.33 trillion dollars. That's a lot! The average house hold or apartment to live in New York City for just one bedroom is nearly $3000 dollars and for a two bed room studio would have you looking into nearly $4000. You have to be financially stable to afford one of
those! Unfortunately, like all good things, most things come to an end. Sadly, on September 11, 2001, New York City went through the most tragic thing that has ever happened in the ENTIRE United States of America. An Islamic terrorist group called Al Qaeda attacked two of the world's most famous Sky Scrapper's called the Worlds Trade Center, Aka Twin Towers. That caused both towers to collapse and fatally kill approximately 3000 innocent lives. That made national news and it certainly broke hearts from people in all across the world. Interesting enough, New York is also the place where the firsts Native Americans touched land. Luckily enough, I was born and raised in the heart of Miami. Many people consider Miami to be the life of the party. Miami is popular for its beautiful beaches and the party life style and the amount of Hispanics that live here. A lot of Hispanics leave their country to come live in Miami. Any given day of the week, you can go to the beach at 10pm and you will still see a lot of people enjoying their day. A lot of celebrities come spend the weekend here in Miami just to have fun and go clubbing. We are known for the night life. The people of Miami tend to come alive at night. Miami isn't as big as New York City when it comes to Sky Scrapper's but it definitely sure is fun when you want to go out and have a drink with a couple buddies. However, Miami expenses aren't as bad as New York. Miami is a little bit pricey but it sure is affordable. You don’t need to be financially stable to have a roof over your head. Rent in Miami for one bedroom apartment is $1,100 in a well known neighborhood. Although we're affordable, the unemployment rate in Miami is 5.20%. Many people don’t have jobs, and many people are struggling but it's a good thing that Miami has affordable rent and other neccesitities that a human would need to survive. Some of the history that Miami carries is that in 1986, nearly 400 people at the time crowded into a building to vote Miami to become one of Florida's cities. On July 28, 1986 it became a reality. The building that stands tall across downtown Miami called the freedom tower made Miami a city with just a population of 300 people at the time. Julia Tuttle is a woman who became the founder of Miami. Thankfully nothing tragic has happened to the city of Miami. Likewise, I guess we can both tell that Miami and New York City are both cities that are filled with joyful fun and lots of people! Whenever someone wants to go out of their city to go travel the world we can both agree that New York and Miami are both places to enjoy well deserved vacations. Both places are Spanish speaking and that’s what most people like! If I could recommend people to go to New York and Miami I would because it makes me feel like I'm at home.
