The average NFL player’s income per year is 1.5 million dollars, but the highest paid player now is Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints. His pay is 31 million dollars not counting bonuses of any sort. Are professional players that are part of the NFL paid too much? Some might say that there are doctors and people like the president that really do save people's lives and help and that they should get paid millions. Then people like me saying that no they are not overpaid and that they are the best at what they can do. The odds of making the NFL is about 1.6% and that 1 injury may be the end of all of that, Not to blame the players but more like the people and the organizations themselves, without these players and without the youth that follow behind these big stars and NFL players there would be no Nike no Underarmour. Sponsorship is one of the biggest deals that these businesses can sign to make their company to get more customers and big contract deals.
