Niagara Falls Research Paper
Have you ever been to Niagara Falls? Well I went to Niagara Falls this summer and it was outstanding. It is such a beautiful area and we spent a week there. It has something for everyone and the view is amazing. It is also a very wonderful place if you want to learn about history.
I went to Niagara Falls with my grandparents, about a week after I got back from Washington D.C. So on a Saturday, I packed my clothes and items I wanted to bring with on this fascinating road trip, and put them in the car. We drove up to New Buffalo beach and spent about four hours there. Then we hit the road for an eight hour drive. We stopped places along the way to Canada, but my favorite was the Thomas Edison Museum. I learned a lot about Edison's' life.

The trip to the base of the falls was my favorite part because of just how spectacular the view was. The view was like nothing else I had ever seen, and the roar of the water hitting the falls with so much force was just truly amazing. I also got soaked and had to change my clothes when we got back to the campground.
On the last day, I packed my items, then went to the basketball court to shoot some baskets. On that court, I met a kid from Belgium, a kid from England, and three kids from France. Not all of us could speak the same language, but when we were playing basketball, it seemed as we all understood each other and that was truly amazing. After a while, we all headed back for the night. I went to the gift shop that night and bought a bunch of Canadian candy. This was one of my favorite memories from Niagara Falls.
To conclude, my trip to Niagara Falls was a trip I will remember forever, and had a lot of fun being on to. Even though my intent wasn't to learn, I learned a lot on this trip. I learned a lot about culture and physical land forms. I also learned a lot about the history of the United States on this

Today I left for Yosemite with my friends and our parents. It took us about 5 hours to get to get there. We took about 10 stops on the way. When we arrived I popped open the trailer and too a nice long nap because we got up at 3 am and left at 4 am. After my nap I met up with a couple of friends who were also staying in the campsites next to us who were also taking naps . We went hiking to Yosemite Falls with a guide to watch the water flow down. It was beautiful and there was a sunset which made it even prettier. Our guide who led us there told us we should make a list to follow every day we were staying. We asked what were the greatest thing to see. He said Half Dome, Ansel Adams Gallery Tuolumne Meadows, Mist Trail and Vernal Fall,Glacier…

Women could not own property and most of their education consisted of learning how to run a home. Men thought that they were more intelligent than women therefore, they didn’t think a woman could hold political office or vote. Men also thought women should not be involved in legal issues and they were not allowed to hold jobs outside of the home.…

The best trip I have ever went on was when my family and I went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. My aunt was getting married and my mom’s side of the family was invited to come. We got to go on this vacation last February. We left very early one morning and we went to the airport. It was very cold and the air was very dry. We got to the airport in Sioux Falls and we went through security and waited to get on the plane. Once we finally got on the plane I was very excited to get there. We had a connection in Minneapolis and we had a direct flight from Minneapolis all the way to Punta Cana. Once we finally got to Punta Cana, we were getting off the plane and I could feel the humid, warm air. We had to wait in a very long line to go through customs. After that, we got on a taxi that took us to our resort. The roads in the Dominican Republic are not much different from the roads in the U.S. They still had stop lights, billboards, and the same traffic rules. One big difference we saw on the way to the…

I've never been an "outdoors" experience kind of person. Maybe, it's because I'm very sedentary and prefer to stay inside to read and enjoy tranquility. I avoid all types of chaos and crowded places. Nevertheless, my visit to the Camuy River Cave Park (back in 2004) was refreshing and enriching in knowledge, historically, scientifically and spiritually. That experience brought the best out of me, as a human being and a nature lover, by giving the chance of experiencing a whole new level of peace and tranquility.…

This is my favorite memory because of everything I saw and experienced. I laughed alot at the guys that were on the trip. I would just sit by the campfire at night and take everything in. I had travelled all across the country, and seen things by first grade that most of my high school classmates still haven’t seen. The cross-country drives allowed me to see everything from Yellowstone National Park, to the mountains of Boulder Colorado, to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Driving around the country in a packed Honda Odyssey minivan gave me the opportunity to see so many national treasures that many people will not see in their entire life, which I am incredibly thankful for.…

We said our final goodbyes to our house and started driving towards California with our cramped car. Beforehand my parents planned some places where we were going to go to along the way such as going to places we been never before, but eventually in about a week we would reach California! My mom and dad said that “we will definitely be going to Niagara Falls and Mount Rushmore and the rest of the things we will figure out along the way.” We went through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah, Colorado, and Nevada. To start, the first interesting place we stopped at was Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada. At Niagara Falls we listened to the sound of the water rushing and the crisp and clear sound of the water. Our family took pictures in front of the waterfall with the water flying in our faces. “The waterfall is so pretty with that rainbow,” my family said in awe. At Niagara Falls the water was rushing down so fast you could hear the clear and crisp swooshing sound of the water. Niagara Falls is a waterfall that formed about 12,000 years ago and in the 1900’s it became a popular place for daredevils to do stunts and for people to go on honeymoons. On the way to our next stop we stopped by Notre Dame College in Indiana. Our family quickly looked at the campus and football field…

Niagara Falls is about 12,000 years old and has two waterfalls on the Niagara River, which marks the border between New York and Ontario, Canada. The American side of the Falls is located on the American side of the border, and the Canadian or Horseshoe Falls is located on the Canadian side of the border. To the right of the American Falls is a smaller waterfall that has been separated from the American Falls by natural forces, which is usually called Bridal Veil Falls. The falls are so unique due to the fact that they are several falls that combined together to make what we know as Niagara Falls. It’s also unique due to its size. It is quite a high and wide water fall. It is not the highest water fall or widest water fall in the world but…
