Nicholas Spark's Nicholas Sparks

The speaker is Nicholas Sparks because the readers travel in the footprints of Sparks as he voices his perspective on his journey. Indeed,the reader can blatantly identify Nicholas Sparks as the speaker because the whole book is narrated through the first person point of view. With the narration in first point of view, the readers easily identify the emotional, mental and physical feelings that Sparks is exhibiting. For example, when the author’s mother died, Nicholas Spark’s illustrates his perspective of his father’s somber emotional state when he claims,”I knew he didn’t hate me..I knew that his anger and pain had to go somewhere,nonetheless I wondered what I’d done to deserve his hostility”(Sparks 225). The reader can infer some of the
