Death penalty?

Murder,Rape,Treason,terrorism,etc.These are only some of the crimes that can be applied for capital punishment.Some people may think if they kill someone they should be killed.But others think including me that there too many risks involved and it is inhuman. Nicholas Yarris was a convicted of a capital crime and was supposed to be executed.However on January 16th he was released and all of his charges were dropped.This proves that someone who is completely innocent could be killed for no reason.Studies show that since 1973 more than 155 people have been released from death row with evidence of their innocence.This is the problem is that it's chosen by a jury and judge but i don't think that they should have the option of choosing.It is inhuman and leaves to many risks. …show more content…
Murder is one of the crimes that can be applied for the death penalty.A Lot of people probably think that if someone were to murder someone they deserve the death penalty.However I believe they deserve to suffer in prison and live in a cell and think for every hour of the day about what they did.In my opinion if they get the death penalty that is the easy way out. The death penalty does not belong in this society.It causes many innocent people to be unjustly killed.It is inhuman and criminals deserve to rot in prison, not die and be free.therefore everyone should strongly oppose the horrific death

    In my opinion Death penalty’s should be illegal because it is a possibility that people are sentenced to death when not guilty.
