During Daisy’s visit and tour of Gatsby’s grand home, she begins crying because she regrets her choice of forgetting Gatsby. Also Gatsby seemed to have such a strong reason for inviting Daisy to see him. I think Gatsby wants to make himself believe that he is somebody as well as that he could win Daisy with all of his riches. After the first party that Daisy attended, Gatsby could tell that Daisy was not amused, so he stopped throwing his famous parties as well as rid
