“Night” by Elie Wiesel In the novel “Night” by Elie Wiesel, Elie Wiesel tells the story of his life in the Auschwitz concentration camps. Mr. Wiesel was born in the town of Sighet, Transylvania and was only a teenager when he and his family were taken from their home he called the “ghetto”. Although they all had been worn by Moishe the Beadle, about his terrible story in which no one believed him and though he was a mad man. Nevertheless the Germen army arrived shortly, and all Jews where obligated to wait outside until there train was to come for them and take them. Once in the train arrived and it was there; soon it was Elie Wiesel and his family turn to get, on lying down was not an option or even siting down. The air was little and there was little food and thirst became a big problem as so did the heat. Then the train stop in Kaschau in Czechoslovakia and a German officer stepped in and told all the Jews in the train that they were know under the German army authority and to give them all there gold and silver. The Jews where treated like dogs and threaten to get shot if anyone went missing. After that the train continued to its destination, with in the train there was a woman named Mrs. Schachter a woman in here fifties started to cry out “Fire! I see a fire! I see a fire!” she did this many times and the Jews got tired of it after a while so the beat her, so she would stop crying. Once they arrived to their final destination Auschwitz she scram fire for the last time, but this time there was fire and shortly everyone had to get off the train the air smelled like burning flesh. After getting off Elie Wiesel was separated from his mother and sisters with he never saw again but stayed with his father. After separated Elie Wiesel saw as children and old where being burned and hoped it was all just a dream. Elie Wiesel was close to being thrown in the fire pit, but instead him and his father where forced to run to the showers and then to Block 17 where there they all got their numbers Mr. Wiesel became A-7713 from then on. In the camp Elie Wiesel and his father and the rest of the Jews in that block until they were all commanded to leave to the next camp. After four hours they arrived to their new camp Buna. The cape look empty and dead, and there they were given new clothing and settled in two tents but only one thing was most important not to be assigned to the construction Kommando. Elie Wiesel and his father where sent to the good Kommando, and one day Elie Wiesel was called to the dentist to remove his gold crown but faked he was sick and his got a reappointment a few weeks later the dentist office was shut off. Idek the “Kapo” also took advantage of Elie Wiesel and his father by beating them for no reason, and one of the times Elie Wiesel was helped by the French girl which he then saw again many years later in a Paris. Elie Wiesel was also whip by Idek; because he had found him with the young Polish girl and was whip until he fainted after like twenty five whips. Then one Sunday they boomed the Buna factory, and every bomb that fell filled them all with joy. The summer was coming to an end the Jewish years almost over, and Elis Wiesel father in God was ending to he blamed him for the thousands of children burned in mass graves and the six crematoria working day and night. Elie Wiesel also hated the bells he often dreamed of a universe without a bell. There was also an examination test in with the Kapos made the Jews run to see if they were prepared for the next journey Elie Wiesel past the test his father did not. His father gave him a spoon and a knife for is son to keep on going without him. However his father was saved thanks to the red army that was catching up to the Germans. It was winter and Elie Wiesel foot got infected and had to be operated, shortly after he had to run to the next camp and the Jews that couldn’t keep up where shot. When they arrived at the New Cap they were showered with hot water and Elie Wiesel father was very sick. He laid in his bunk and was robbed and bitten by his neighbors. On January 29 Elis Wiesel’s father was not there and another man laid on his bunk. I was until April 5 that the Russian armies attract his block and as free men there first act was to throw them selfless on to the provisions. That’s all they thought about no thoughts of revenge only bread. After the days of liberation Elie Wiesel became very ill and was transferred to a hospital and spent two weeks in bed.
