Even some Jews were in disbelief until it was too late. I believe personally that it would be impossible for me to stay noble in a situation like this, especially knowing that there are others who know what is going on and not doing anything about this type of treatment. In the novel Night we see how Moishe struggles as he warns the people in saying that “without passion or haste they shot their prisoners, who were forced to approach the trench one by one and offer their necks.” Here, we see that Moishe has gone and spoke out about what happened to him and yet everyone turns a blind eye to him and the terror continues. In the novel it is revealed that Moishe was unable to stay noble in such troubling times because it explains how he is no longer the same and has lost all of his faith. Overall, like Moishe there is no way that I could have stayed noble with people not believing me. However, others believe that it is possible to stay noble in even the worst times like these.
Although I believe that it is incredibly hard to stay noble in certain situations, others may disagree. Some people say that it is important to stay noble even in the hardest times in order to stay humble. Most of these people believe this way because of their morals or religion, however, when this type of cruelty is taking place, being humble as well as noble is the last of my concern. Even though many
