Night Rave Monologue
Night Rave last weekend felt unreal to me. I’ve met this boy who changed my life for the better. I almost missed the chance to meet him, but I’m glad I did..for now. I went back a few months ago when I met my ex. I told him I’ll do anything for him. As I said, he held my hand. Completely shocked by the same comparison, I saw my ex for a split second, even if they were completely different in looks. I was lost in both of their eyes for a second. I held on to his sweaty hand and didn’t let go at all. I thought to myself, wishing he could lead me through everything in this way. His tallness made the lights bounce off of him as he walked with his head high like a shadow. He held me as tight as a little boy holding his favorite toy. I missed this feeling. Being wanted by someone else. I wish this moment would stay

so much. I'd adore to. I don't want to dance with him. I don't want to dance with anybody. And even if I did, it wouldn't be him. He'd be well down among the last ten.
