Nike one of the biggest sports brand ever, have a slogan "Innovate for a better world". Mark Parker, CEO and President of the global corporation for Nike said “’Innovate for a better world’ is more than just a catchphrase for being a responsible corporation. It’s about reaching our potential” one of the most important thing for Nike, is to think more innovative, Mark Parker believes that that they now see challenges as opportunities that will make the company growing any further, they believe they can make better products for the athletes and the planet, and have the best conditions for their employees. Moreover, how they are going to continue to grow, therefor they started changing their strategy, and becoming an Innovation embossed business. They call the initiative “Considered Design”. Which fundamentally consists in that, they are focusing on bringing systemic change for their workers in the footwear, apparel and equipment industries, create sustainable products and business model, by that Nike Is trying to use more organic compounds in footwear, Nike is also trying lowering manufacturing waste. Nikes recent innovative projects, is the Nike flynit, It is a running shoe which is, one of the environmental benefit to Nike Flyknit is the it reduces waste, since the Nike flynits upper piece does not use unnecessary materials and material cuts, that are used in almost used in every footwear. The time it takes to produce the product are reduced, because there are so few materials, to be more specific, Nike only made use of two materials to create the Nike flynik, compared with Nike air pegesus which uses 37 different materials. Nike has become so focus on environmentally that, they use old materials, and turns it into products. The shoe is so good, it were used by to athletes over the world, even for the Olympics in London, it was only Nike shoes that were used most of. they was not known to be a modern company that produced modern products, but today they have managed turn it all over again, they have managed to win consumer trust back, by doing the right thing, thinking innovation, and the working conditions is much better then what it was in the past. Nike has been a good example to the world, because they help the world getting healthier, in addition, they are a good role model for other company, because they shows that it is possible to lead a company that thinks the world as while they earn
