No Voodoo Doctor is an Island In 2009, Disney came out with the movie “Princess and the Frog”. This movie showed the audience a story about the famous tale of kissing a frog to turn into a handsome prince. (Princess and the Frog). Through this story the antagonist, Dr.Facilier, gives the characters extreme complications throughout their journey in New Orleans. Dr. Facilier, Shadow Man, is a powerful Voodoo Doctor who tricks people into his office and is mendacious with fulfilling their wishes. Though the Shadow Man seems all powerful on his own that is simply not the case. No one can succeed on his own without the help of others, Dr.Facilier is completely powerless alone. Dr. Facilier is the perfect example when it comes to showing how no one is successful by their self. There is always someone there to help you on the road to your achievements. When there is a group of people you can achieve goals faster. The Shadow Man and his friends both had worked together to achieve their goals. The friends on the other side wanted all the souls in New Orleans and Shadow Man wanted to kill Big Daddy, once Shadow Man killed Big Daddy his friends would be able to get all the souls they wanted. In music education, they work together to achieve the same goal. “When we are aligned in our vision for music education, we are so much for powerful,” (Hinckley 7).
