A follow up non-custodial interview of Margaret Grant (Black, female DOB 7/25/1966 of 508 Lamon Street Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301 phone number (910) 748-7836) conducted by Detective L. Donegain on Sunday, June 18th, 2017 at approximately 2:03 p.m. in my patrol vehicle the interview was audio recorded and contained in the case file. The following is a summary of Margaret Grant’s interview: o I was in my room by myself when I heard the gunshot. o I didn’t talk to anyone about hearing anything. o It was late last night about 1or 2 in the morning. o Coco was only here for a month or two.
After the interview, I Detective L. Donegain brought Margaret Grant to the Police Department in-reference to having her cellphone downloaded. I obtained written consent from Margaret Grant and obtained her phone from her along with the pass code.
At approximately 2:55 p.m., I Detective L. Donegain received a phone call from a female who identified herself as Lena Gordon (Black, female DOB 10/30/1978 phone number (347) 607-1376). During the conversation Lena Gordon stated she was like a sister to Coco and she had found …show more content…
Donegain signed for a cellphone which was collected from the room of Shalice Sutton and Matthew White. I took custody of the cellphone from Forensic Tech Allsbrooks. I also located the victims North Carolina identification card on a nightstand next to the bed. A search of the room was done and multiple items were collected by Forensic Tech. The Hi-point rifle along with a spent shell casing was collected along with some beer bottles which were processed for potential latent prints. A liquor bottles was also collected from outside which appeared to have not been there long. All of the seized items were placed into the Evidence collection
