Qualitative techniques are utilized to collect and analysis data. Observation options can be considered qualitative (Cooper & Schindler, 2014). Observation options are not acceptable in Capella University’s DBA program. These methods take too much time to complete and do not align with the timeframe of the program. Interviews are considered an acceptable data collection method by Capella University (Capella University, 2016). This discussion will discuss the aspects of nonbehavioral and behavioral activities.
Nonbehavioral Activities Nonbehavioral observation includes record analysis, physical condition analysis, and physical process analysis (Cooper & Schindler, 2014). Record analysis involves the documentation of the data whether that is in print, an audio recording, video recording, or photograph. Historical statistical data is generally used for studies (Cooper & Schindler, 2014).
