Nonbelievers Research Paper

Very interesting question. What happens if God decides to wait another thousand years to send his son to fill the prophecy? What if all the Jews decided he was not God's Son? He dies on the cross invane? Now to the proposed question. Does it really make a difference? No, not really, they would be like the Jews of today, still waiting for the Messiah to come and following the Torah. Therefore, they would go about their daily lives believing in God and following his laws and listening to people who profess to be prophets. Christians would not be going around professing to everyone that Jesus is God, not going on mission trips around the world to bring the good news to the nonbelievers and there would be a lot less holidays to celebrate each
year. Not knowing that Jesus to be God, continues on the Jewish teachings that there is no life after death, which brings about a futile existence. Do you live today knowing that there is no reward for following the law and doing what is right?

Paul taught that there was no need to keep the Jewish law any longer. As I look through Leviticus 23: 21, 31, 41, God speaks..."it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations." God is speaking of keeping a tradition that he has commanded forever or does he mean just until Paul says you do not have to?

Therefore, knowing Jesus to be God, brings to light the transformation of the law with the fulfillment of the Old Testament, which brings hope with the death and resurrection.
