Cillian Murphy[1] (born 25 May 1976) is an Irish film and theatre actor. He has appeared in diverse roles,[2][3] and has been cited as having distinctive blue eyes.[4][5]

A native of Cork, Murphy began his performing career as a rock musician. After turning down a record deal, he made his professional acting debut in the play Disco Pigs. He went on to star in a number of Irish and UK film and stage productions throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, first coming to international attention in 2003 as the hero in the post-apocalyptic film 28 Days Later. Murphy 's best known roles are as villains in two 2005 blockbusters: the Scarecrow in the superhero film Batman Begins, and Jackson Rippner in the thriller Red Eye. Next came two contrasting, widely acclaimed starring roles: his Golden Globe Award-nominated performance as transgendered outcast "Kitten" in 2005 's Breakfast on Pluto and a turn as a 1920s Irish revolutionary in 2006 Palme d 'Or winner The Wind That Shakes the Barley. 2007 saw Murphy on the London stage in Love Song and onscreen in science fiction film Sunshine.

A resident of London since 2001, Murphy often works in or near London[6] and has no desire to move to Hollywood.[7] Uncomfortable on the celebrity circuit,[8] he customarily gives interviews about his work, but does not appear on television talk shows or discuss details of his private life with the press.

    Finding Nemo Analysis

My choice for this topic is a bit different than the other choices I have seen so far; I chose Finding Nemo. The movie finding Nemo is about a father fish, Marlin, whose son was trying to be brave on a school trip by swimming out further than everyone else and he got captured by fisherman. At The beginning of the story, Marlin’s wife, Nemo’s mother, is killed and Marlin vows to always take care of Nemo. This “promise” leads him to be overbearing and very protective of his son. We then transition into when Nemo is captured by the fisherman’s net, and this is where the story begins. The story then turns into a great adventure where Marlin is trying to find his son and bring him back home to where he is safe. During his journey, he meets many new creatures, and encounters many scenarios that…

Many historians have argued the political and cultural differences between the New England, the Middle, and the Southern Colonies were economically motivated rather than ideologically motivated. The New England colonies were formed mainly for religious and political freedom. Like the New England colonies, the Middle Colonies were more ideologically motivated than economically motivated since the people there were looking for toleration. In the southern colonies, unlike the New England and the Middle colonies, they were economically motivated as there were mostly plains with warmer climate and rich fertile which are the perfect conditions to start plantation life.…

Raw materials and natural resources were being used to create trade and commerce in the new colonies. The colonies traded things such as fish, ships, timber products, corn, wheat, livestock, tobacco, sugar, rice, and much more. Specialized trades might have chosen to work certain jobs based on what was being traded in their area. For example in the middle colonies where there were things such as livestock and corn those who lived there may have become farmers.…

Secondly, Buster Keaton’s whacky character shines through Johnny Depp’s acting in the film Benny and Joon. The movie cover/ propaganda poster of Benny and Joon has a certain recognizable hat too. The standout scene for Johnny is when his character, Sam, drops his hat and cannot retrieve it because the hat seems to be running away from him. Also, when his hat and handkerchief is making him do flips all kinds of tricks, Keaton also shines through. Also, the first scene with Johnny in it, where he is making music with car parts and balancing and juggling them, this…
