Noon Prayer at Harvest Theodor Schuz painting of Noon Prayer at harvest reminded me of Little House on the Prairie, by the time frame the painting depicts to me that it’s from and by the way the family is dressed. This could simply be a painting, of a still image, of Theodor’s actual family. I get sort of a religious vibe from this piece. The woman and her daughters are dressed in modest garments with skirts below their knees which is the tradition dress. On the bottom right of the painting there is a little lamb which I known to represent Christ. The reason I reflected this to be religious and seems as if its Theodor’s actual family was because he was the son of a protestant pastor. Protestants are members or followers of Christian Churches.
