1- Your text discusses three sources of contextual influence on development. Give an example of each of these influences from your own life. Among the three important sources of contextual influences that are related in the text we have; Normative age-graded influences that can define as similar for individuals in a particular age group. For example, with the social media I have the chance to join with my peers group that we went to high school and college with. The fact that we connect together gives me the opportunity to learn and know about the progress of others so I can be more motivate to accomplish my goal. Normative history-graded influences, are common to people for a particular generation; I am thankful so in this time I have access to the computer and cell phone and they are also used to help with my homework and others. In fact, Piaget explains that children go through four stages of cognitive development as they actively construct their understanding to the world. I believe that this approach is right especially when we consider the stages such as: the sensorimotor stage, the preoperational stage which I experience right now with my seven years old daughter, she has more ability to perform certain taches more easily than before. We also have the concrete operational stage, and regarding to my experience as a parent I am pretty sure that with all the critical thinking and logical questions that has been asking by my daughter I can slightly place her on this category. Finally, we have the formal operational stage that continue through adulthood. I believe that this theory gives a direct response in which what the human being is
