Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones were deemed to be a crisis because Note 7 users from all over the world felt petrified since the launching of the explosive smartphone. Hence, this alerted Samsung company and their key publics. Those involved in the crisis suffered from phones catching fire and global explosion (Criddle, 2016). In this case, on a Friday, a lower secondary Minnesota born Abby Zuis identified even her exchanged device were in the same bad condition as the original device (Wiggers, 2017). More than 50 percent of users claimed that a wider declining perception is starting to build towards the company’s way of managing the Note 7 crisis (DeNisco, 2016) . Samsung Electronics made a worldwide recall of over 2 million Note 7 device with the reason of battery malfunction (Reuters, 2016) . The company believe that their users were in danger if they continue to use the explosive device. News had announced upon the first report of over 30 cases of Note 7 bursting into flames, the organization stated that they will stop the making of Note 7 device and begin an exchange scheme to ensure that the problematic Note 7 phones will be taken away from all victims (Sullivan, 2016). A source from DailyMail claimed that social networking site users teases the device on Twitter with funny pictures after the organization halted the Note 7 device production (Dailymail,2016). After 1 month of device recall, intense check, and quality control, the tech company eventually announced that it would discontinue the Note 7 production for good on a Tuesday morning (Sullivan, …show more content…
The company’s mobile directorate, D.J.Koh claimed on a Monday that the company will accommodate to the needs for battery specifications. He, added that Samsung suffers from a suffocating pressure due to failure to examine and conclude that there was a defect in the design and manufacturing process before releasing Note 7 to the public (Nytimes,2017).
