The target market will carefully be selected based upon the size of the target group and the expected profitability. The costs of promoting Beyond the Bean have to fit the promotion budget of $6.000 which is a relatively small budget, so the promotion plan will mostly be based on the costs of the promotion tools. The final product offering can differ from also serving alcoholic beverages in the café or only non-alcoholic beverages. The final product offering will be based on suitability, convenience and…

The four requirements for minerals are that they must be naturally occurring in other words they must appear in nature something that that was formed by the earth and not man made. It must be inorganic which means I must not be formed from an organic substance like a fossil of any other living creature. It must have a specific crystalline structure that is formed from simple salts and complex silicates. And it must have a definite chemical composition which defines the minerals structure. The way that you differentiate between minerals is by the way they react to specific tests like for instance the acid test some minerals will have a bubbling action and other one will have no reaction and by color minerals come in many different shades an colors. The six methods to tell minerals apart are the color test by looking at the mineral it can be classified by its color. Another method is the streak test which is the color of the mineral in its powered form this is the true color of a mineral specimen as it lessens the impurity impact and eliminates the light distortion from the crystal. The luster test refers to the absorption, refection, or refraction of light by the surface of a mineral. The fluorescence test in ultraviolet light, some mineral specimens appear to Florence due to the fluorescent mineral impurities or due to locality. Chemical composition is another method because minerals have a fixed chemical composition it is easy to test mineral with this method. And hardness minerals are identified by their hardness based on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness based on their ability to scratch any mineral with a number lower than theirs and their inability to scratch any mineral with a number higher than theirs. A mineral is naturally occurring crystalline solid with a specific chemical composition and characteristic geometric shape. A rock is mineral partials…

As a trainer, teacher and assessor my roles are many and varied. As part of my day to day work I may not only deliver lessons but also carry out theory assessments, practical assessments and sometimes interviews. I may have to motivate and liaise as well as guide and assess. I will have to keep records and be a subject specialist as well as liaise internally and impart information and advice sometimes on a personal level. The first impact I play regarding my role is either interviewing possible candidates or meeting and greeting them on the first day of their course. Meeting potential apprentices/apprentices on their first day induction requires me to make a good first impression and aim to create a degree of respect and professionalism from the onset.…
The loading beam (Silicon Carbide) is lowered at 10mm per second onto the plate. The load is applied until the glass breaks against the two supports (also of Silicon Carbide). The values for maximum load and deflection are recorded from the apparatus. Steps 1-4 are repeated for ten different samples. With a piece of emery paper scratch the surface of the glass slides along the width in the centre on one side only of a glass sample (see Figure 2)…

Materials science, also commonly known as materials engineering, is an interdisciplinary field applying the properties of matter to various areas of science and engineering. This relatively new scientific field investigates the relationship between the structure of materials at atomic or molecular scales and their macroscopic properties.…
Deterioration occurs because of some factors that give an impact to the archival materials. The factors are divided into two groups which is inherent factor and external factor. Compare to external factor, inherent factor is the biggest responsible for deterioration of archival materials. According to M.C. Onwubiko, the main factor in inherent factor is acidity that contain in the paper itself or from the atmosphere. The major causes of deterioration of paper materials in acidity. At the earlier century there is papyrus before wood-pulp was discovered. The lignins that contain in the wood pulp cause paper weaken and discolour. There are some types of inherent factor that causes deterioration. The first factor is acids from the equipment. Archives used different types of shelves to store which is wood and metal shelves. They do not know that by using wood equipment can lead to damage the materials. Boxes also are commonly use in archives to store valuable newspaper, letter or maps. The choice of boxes is important because if it not suitable it can damage the materials.…
