Nowadays people are influence by social media. They define beauty such as have big eyes, nose should be aquiline, oval face, chin pointed and etc. Some people want their figure become more neat and graceful, they will accept augment breasts and liposuctions. This is also a kind of plastic surgery. From my opinion, I think that plastic surgery got benefits and disadvantages. The benefits of plastic surgery are:
-Improve self-confidence Some people they have not enough confident of their appearance. They might hide themselves, not communicate with others because they think that they are ugly. Ugly is also an issue about school bullying. Others could make fun of their appearance. This will make them inferiority complex. So they change appearance through plastic surgery. After surgery, they look more confidence.
-Better body image Some companies emphasize appearance more than ability. So if the people who not that pretty but she/he had the capability go interview this kind of companies, he/she will not get the job easily. If they do plastic surgery, they will have better body image and they will get job easily although their capability not that strong.
-Social life implications Attractive people have better odds of career and social success. This might sound superficial, but it’s the way society works. People like to enjoy good things. If a person is attractive, it’s going to be easy for the person to make friends. Those friends will give you more connections, which will then lead to more career opportunities.
There are also some disadvantages of plastic surgery:
-Possibility of death Many a times, the surgical process involves usage of chemicals and equipments that are not suitable for a person’s body. Excessive bleeding, heart attack or even a drop in blood pressure, while the surgery is going on, are some of the factors that might lead to death of the patient.
