Organizational Culture
• “Organizational culture includes an organization 's expectations, experiences, philosophy, and values that hold it together, and is expressed in its self-image, inner workings, interactions with the outside world, and future expectations. It is based on shared attitudes, beliefs, customs, and written and unwritten rules that have been developed over time and are considered valid”(BusinessDictionary.com, 2015).

Attention to detail- Exhibiting precision and analyzing things that may need to be changed Outcome orientation-Focusing on the outcome
People orientation- Taking into consideration the afects that change may have on the people
Team orientation- Utilizing team work to make the dream work
Aggressiveness- Having a go get them attitude instead of being so laid back
Stability- Making sure things stay steady in the midst of change to keep things running smoothly

• Team work makes the “DREAM” work. The mission and values of an organization. When a nurse is looking to find a job they attempt to find a place that usually a great fit for their vision of nursing. The main goal of any facility is competent and safe patient care delivery. When your nurses are engaged the mission and values of the hospital holds true. When nurses are engaged it has a huge impact on quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
