I set up an appointment with the Kids Club daycare at 9:45 am on November 4th to observe for an hour of toddler classroom who were between three and four years old. The principle gave me a warm greeting and took me to the class and introduced me to the teachers and the children. Everyone there made me feel welcomed. I chose a place where I can sit, observe and write my note as well as to be away from children's sight. In the classroom there were five boys, two girls, and two teachers Ms. Nadia and Ms. Emma. The classroom itself was large and spacious. The classroom is very appropriate for children this age and it has many interesting areas such as a blocks and art area, and children taped some of their previous work in the art area. The color of the class is bright and has interesting posters like calendars with the name of children’s birthdays. Also. There is a toys area that has toys suitable for both boys and girls like cars, animals, and doll. There is a reading area with a little amount of children’s books and stories in reachable…

Finally the day arrived; it was 15th of August, our independence day. We reached there in the morning. When we reached there, I was happy to see a lot of decorations to welcome us. The children were already prepared for our arrival and were sitting in lines orderly. We tried to be cheerful and friendly to the children by waving and smiling at them. They looked happy and excited about our visits. They smiled, laugh, and clap when we talk to them. We gave all the things we got for them and then had fun with kids. They had a painting competition and an essay competition that day. All of them did well. Their names and cheers were creative and meaningful. They were energetic when shouting their cheers. We…

They were accompanied by five teachers, including the senior assistant of co-curricular affairs Puan Ng. Upon arrival at the campsite, they were given a briefing by the facilitators. Then, they were put into groups and asked to set up tents. By 7pm, most of them had accomplished this task successfully. After dinner, the participants had to engage in their first group activity. Last day of NSTP II. Before that all of us work so hard to prepare for our mini programme that held at Day-care Center in Magallanes St. Intamuros, Manila. Our section decided to give some children a gift from the bottom of our heart. A little gift that can make them happy even for just the couple of hours. I admit it’s not easy to prepare such things like that. Although our programme is not that stressful it’s take us to the bottom of our stress and tired mind. It’s not that easy to think, plan and decide on what and how we can make children happy. Yes we all know that children can be happy in easy way but what we want is the happiness we can see in their face not because of what things we gave to them. All we want is the happiness from their experience to be with us, to share their moment with us.…
