Thank you again, for your patience while we work through this issue. After looking over the information you sent in the last email; I agree this is probably more a software issue than a hardware issue.
This also, might be an issue with FreeFlyer not having full access privileges to your computer. I presumed, but wanted to confirm that you are running FreeFlyer with full Read, Write, and Execute permission? If you are, I would like to preform one last test before considering a different approach. I’d like for you to attempt to record a movie from the command line. The following steps will accomplish this:
1) First you need to save a copy of a Mission Plan to an easily accessible directory.
a. (I placed my test Mission Plan, ISS …show more content…
(My folder directory: C:\Program Files\a.i. solutions, Inc\FreeFlyer 7.1.0.35433 (64-Bit) )
5) Once you have accessed the folder insert the following command line to initiate the recording and designate the output location.
a. (FreeFlyer.exe -cbm C:\Users\chretien.mayes\Desktop\SoftwareRendering_Test_Example.MissionPlan -bmop "C:\FreeFlyer Movies" -bmw "MissionView 1" "SpacecraftMovie_Test")
b. This command creates a movie of "MissionView 1" of "SoftwareRendering_Test_Example.MissionPlan", generating "SpacecraftMovie_Test.wmv".
c. You can adjust the user name and desktop directory to the proper location, of your test mission plan, on your computer.
d. The descriptions for the switches are as followed: -cbm: Create Bitmap Movie, -bmop: Bitmap Movie Output Path, -bmw: Bitmap Movie Window
6) Hit Enter. You should see a dialog box pop up that gives you the current status of the mission plan and movie creation.
7) Navigate to the designated output folder and check to see if a movie was populated.
If these steps do not result in a movie being created, then I’m confident, it might be an issue with the Codec packs interacting with your system. Although I would like to exhaust all other options, before proceeding down that
