Nugget sees the whole debate of who deserves the farm very unfair because all of the other members of the family are just interested in the value of the farm for their own sake. Nugget believes that he should be able to keep it because he does all of the maintenance for the farm where as nobody else has done anything. Nugget doesn't get the recognition he deserves for his efforts into the farm, if nugget hadn't of put all of his time into Allandale, it wouldn't be worth as much as what it has been valued at. None of them seemed to have what they wanted in life, they either had their rights taken from them, or all of their control. They were manipulated by other characters and had what they wanted taken from them and couldn’t do anything about it. It was so hard that one character even took their own life, all caused by the family arguing over the over who did and why they didn’t deserve the farm. Everyone felt they had the power to control their family members in order to get what they wanted out of Allandale. Close relationships were torn apart from the problem. By the time it was all over, the family didn’t benefit at all and it all ended the complete opposite of how it was intended. Every character but one found the outcome
