Nursery Job Description
The position in which we will be creating a job description will be that of a General Nursery Laborer/ Horticulture Specialist. This position is specific to the marijuana growers and cultivators industry and applicant is required to have experience farming marijuana plants or various types. In addition, accommodations can be made to allow and enable individuals with disabilities to be able to perform the basic essential functions of the position.

Job Description: General Nursery Laborer/Horticulture Specialist

Requirements/Essential Functions:

• Working knowledge of growing techniques which include germination, cloning and transplantation of varies types of cannabis plants and components.

• ‪Flexible and team oriented and collaborative with good communication skills.
• Must be a dexterous and a very open-minded and adaptable individual.

Supervisory Responsibility:
Position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
Position requires employee to work inside in a warehouse that is controlled as well as greenhouses and growing atmosphere.

Physical Demands
This position requires the employee to be able be to lift up to 65 pounds as well as to be able to maneuver between growing tables and slants that are approximately 24 inches apart. In addition, the employee will be required to be able to carry 15-20 pounds on some occasions repeatedly the length of warehouse or the greenhouse.
Position Type
This is a full-time and the standard workday and work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. and some weekend work may be required and requested.
Travel
No travel is expected with this position.

Certified Cannabis Specialist
