Nursing Case Study: Reshell
Reshelle is an outgoing 13 year old girl. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. Reshelle is described as lvoing and caring. She enjoys playing yahtzee, card games, and doing crafts. She enjoys being active by playing at the park. Reshelle does very well in the prospective adoptive home of her maternal grandparent. Reshelle can be stubborn, but he is easily redirected when given one on one time to talk about any issues she is having. Reshelle was a 7th grader at Coolidge Junior High School. She does have an IEP, due to developmental delay. Reshelle was apart of instructional life skills program. Reshelle has been tested multiple times, due to her learning disabilities. She was enrolled in physical therapy and speech and language therapy

She does not take any psychotropic medication. She has been diagnosed with preterm infants NEC, significant limitation in rage of motion balance, gross motor skills, cognitively disabled, mild mental impaired, open wound of the forehead, learning problem, speech delay, yeast rash, dysuria, chocolate sensitivity, superficial INJ cornea, autistic disorder, separation anxiety disorder, moderate mental retardation, psychosocial stressors; separated from her mother, developmental delay, allergic conjuctiuitis OU, intellectual disability, severe, speech sound disorder, severe intellectual disability; requires extra supervision, special schooling, life long dependency on others, intellectual disability/mental retardation, speech impaired, profound intellectual disability, BMI greater than 85%, learning problems, intellectual disability (intellectual developmental disorder), mild to moderateexpressive language disorder, and cavities and adult tooth decay . She sees a counselor at CenterStone once a month to address her mental health issues. She is a loving and sweet little girl. When Reshelle misbehaves her punishments are time out or loss of privileges. Reshelle does not need a child care provider. She is always with Donna , due to her being on disability. Reshelle understands the meaning of her adoption. Donna has gone into detail and has discussed her adoption with her. She is in agreement with her maternal grandparent adopting her. She looks forward to being adopted. She is significantly bonded to Donna and looks to her to have her needs
