Since ancient times, the ability to lead people is considered as the strongest quality and an undeniable advantage of successful person. If we look back at history, we can notice that all heads of states, the hetman and different leaders had this quality. Moreover, a public gave preference to leaders who are brave, who are not afraid to lead people, to declare war against another state, to take responsibilities in making important decisions for the country. People had a clear generated picture of the leader, they needed a person who is able to take care of them and protect them from danger. A person, who did not have leadership qualities, had no chance to become the ruler. Before we consider the basic qualities of a leader we should understand who is a leader. The leader is a person with clearly defined objectives and principles. Leader is not afraid of danger, he is always ready to take responsibilities for his own actions. Responsibility is a very important quality for a leader. If people, who trust their leader, will find out that their leader is not ready to take responsibilities for his actions, they will feel very insecure and immediately will re-elect another leader. Nowadays, the concept of leadership is applicable almost everywhere - in families, in companies, in politics. In the latter case, the leader has a clear position, referred to as a "president." If you draw a parallel with the history, the role of the president is very similar to the role of leader. Relationships between different countries depend on President’s actions, their political and economic cooperation, so the president must be a leader of the country, the guarantor of the constitution.

Nursultan Nazarbayev
Nursultan Nazarbayev is the first President of Kazakhstan, the permanent leader
