The one statistic that surprises me is that participation in physical activity declines as grade or age increases. For I have always done some kind of sport or activity as I grew. Another would be 41 million Americans are estimated to have pre-diabetes. I didn’t know that so many children are estimated to pre diabetes. Third would be that physical activity among children and adolescents is important because of the related health benefits. For not a lot of people I know are very active. Fourth is that Nationwide, 25.6% of persons with a disability reported being physically inactive during a usual week, compared to 12.8% of those without a disability ,for most disabled people I know aren’t as active. Last would be that Food available for consumption increased in all major food categories from 1970 to 2008 for most of the food people eat aren’t as healthy as before.

The one would the pre-diabetes for I have a liver disorder that may cause diabetes but I try to be active to prevent it.

For the first statistic, I think that there should be more free programs for the elderly, like Silver Sneaker. And also the government should fund more fitness program; it will encourage more people (adults and children) to participate in programs. Second, there should be more awareness programs to prevent diabetes, like to have a national diabetes day in which there will have festival. Third, since children and teenagers have high metabolism, they don’t think that they should exercise. I think the television channels (mostly seen by children and teenagers) should participate in the day of play like nickelodeon. Fourth, that there should be classes and programs that are modified to
