When considering the Loise effort, I observed an overall moderately diminished Position and Calibrates skill due to leaning forward and using hand movements at a rapid speed when interacting with the task object. Loise shows mild time inefficiency while reading labels, as she moves rapidly showing Paces skill, experiences brief delays due to sprinting showing Continues skill, and adjusts her body position to move closer to the bottle for better visibility. The Paces and Continues skills have been markedly diminished. With Loise visual impairment, I have observed a modest overall safety risk for Loise due to the inability to read her prescription bottle. Loise hasn’t received any physical or verbal cues for assistance, but it’s clear she requires support, so the frequency of her need for assistance is rated as frequent. The two occupational issues that Loise identified are medication management and cooking. Loise is well-known in the neighborhood for her traditional recipe of deviled eggs. According to the COPM, her performance and satisfaction in cooking is low, in the score of 3 and 2, due to her visual impairment.
