OBAMACARE In this paper we will address what Obama Care is and see how the implementation of this act shows governmental power and action. The Affordable Care Act is commonly known as “Obama care” and while President Obama had much to do with its eventual approval. The power of the lobbies in our nation’s capital, as well as, the efforts in the House and Senate played as equally important roles in the success of this health care reform bill. What we can see is the power of congress over the President and how this new law will forever change the conservative ideology. The program’s success is not irrevocable. But it is finally happening and no one thought this day would come where both parties are on common grounds and working together to help Americans. Hence, “showing that this could become one of the most important legacies during the Obama’s presidency.”
