(Causes, effects, and treatment)
Obesity is a complex and serious disease. Overeating that is due to emotions, habits, and the availability of food is the cause of obesity. It is important to remember that there are other, underlying causes that can cause obesity. • If the food you eat provides more calories than your body needs, the excess is converted to fat. Fat cells increase in size. When they can no longer expand, they increase in number. If you lose weight, the size of the fat cells decreases, but the number of cells does not.
• Inactivity due to elevators, cars, and the remote control for the television which cut the activity out of our lives. In other words we are living sedentary life.
• Your genes due to one of your parents that is obese.
• Your friends and family, if they eat a lot of high-fat or snack foods, eat at irregular times, and skip meals, you probably will too. And if they are not physically active, you may not be either.
• Emotional stress, hopelessness, anxiety, or illness can lead to overeating. Some people eat to calm themselves, to avoid dealing with situations, or to dampen negative emotions.
• Trauma due to distressing events such as physical or emotional abuse and loss of a parent during childhood
• Alcohol due to its high amount of calories
• Some medicines may also cause obesity as a result of their side effects
• The metabolism of old people slows as a result of their ages. This lowers their calorie's requirements.
• Women tend to weigh more after a pregnancy than they did before it.
• Glands are rarely seen as a cause of obesity.
Obesity effects
Obesity has a far-ranging negative effect on health such as:
• High blood pressure due to fat tissue in the body that needs oxygen and nutrients in order to live. This increases the workload of the heart because it must pump more blood through additional blood vessels. More circulating blood also means more pressure. Higher pressure on the artery walls increases the blood pressure.
• Obesity is the major cause of diabetes.
• Heart disease, gout, high cholesterol, and osteoarthritis
• Obesity can affect the knees and hips because of the stress placed on the joints by extra weight.
• Respiratory problems associated with obesity occur when added weight of the chest wall squeezes the lungs and causes restricted breathing and sleep apnea
• People who are overweight have high risk of cancer
• In a culture where often the ideal of physical attractiveness is to be overly thin, people who are obese suffer disadvantages such as the lowered self-esteem.
• Psychological and emotional effects.
• Premature death
• If your choice is making weight-lose surgery, this choice, additional to its disadvantages, will hit your economy because it cost 8000$ approximately
Obesity Treatment
The method of treatment which includes combination of diet, exercise, and behavior modification depends on your level of obesity.
• For most people who are overweight or obese, the safest and the most effective way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more. If you eat less and exercise more, you will lose weight.
• Reduce your fat-intake by stop eating fat and carbohydrate. You should eat much of fruits and vegetables since they don't contain high amount of calories
• Overweight children need support, acceptance, and encouragement from their parents.
• Increase physical activity, perhaps by taking a few brisk walks
• Limit salt and added sugar.
• If you use food to cope with depression, anxiety, or boredom, you need to learn new skills to deal with those feelings.
• Eat healthier foods. Don't diet In conclusion, we should eat healthy food and practice exercises to prevent this complex disease since it is a disease that doesn't have a cure.

The American Civil War was not the first war to be photographed, that honour goes to photographer Roger Fenton in 1855 who took pictures of the Crimean war, but it was considered the first major conflict to be extensively photographed. Some historians even argue that people know more about the American Civil War than any other war, up to World War Two because of the vast amount of photographs taken during this time. Not only did fearless photographers venture onto the war torn battlefields, but the very images that they captured were then widely displayed and sold in large amounts nationwide. Photographers such as Mathew Brady discovered eager audiences for his images as America 's interests were rocked by this shockingly realistic medium. For the first time in history, citizens from the comfort of their own homes could view the reality of the carnage of war and its faraway battlefields. Some experts even say that the biggest impact of Civil War photos was that this explosion of images changed the way the public perceived the war by turning people, removed from the fighting, into eye witnesses of the bloodshed, in other words, Civil War photographs removed much of the supposed romance that surrounded warfare. The people were able to witness the horrific conditions that the soldiers had to face, not just from the viciousness of battle, but to the very poorly maintained field hospitals; where disease from poorly treated wounds would kill just as many soldiers as the battlefield itself.…
