Moreover, Project Morpheus is the second HMD after the Oculus Rift, which was announced at GDC 2014. Furthermore, this new technology will deliver a sense of presence, where you as the player actually feel like you’re inside the game and your emotions feel that much more real. (Shu Yoshida, 2014). Furthermore, the design will feature a light-bar which will collaborate with the PlayStation Camera to track the head orientation and movements of the player from any angle. Additionally, Project Morpheus will incorporate 1080p high definition resolution and a 90° wide field of view for its games. Similarly to Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus uses a heightened stereoscopic 3D view for its OLED headset. Nonetheless, Sony is not new to a 3D headset marketing; they created the HMZ which is a 3D headset that allows the holder to project a crystal clear 3D screen anywhere. In addition, the holder is the only person who can witness the 3D screen. Nevertheless, it had one problem which is the head orientation and movements; when the holder moves his head the 3D display will become blurry and irritating. Subsequently, Sony learned of the problem and added some up-to-date features that will help Project Morpheus’s display to remain as clear as possible. Thus far, Project Morpheus will be compatible with the PlayStation Move, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4.
