Chapter Seven
Scatterplot (or scatter diagram) is a graph in which each point represents the values of two variables. Outlier is generally considered to be a data point that is far outside the norm for a variable or population ( Jarrell, 1994; Rasmussen, 1988; Stevens, 1984).
1) The scatter plot is Positive correlation because the values of y tend to increase with increasing values of x. the correlation become stronger as we proceed from a to c. in fact, c shows a perfect positive correlation, in which all the points fall along a straight line. Yes we have outlier in scatter plot, however, notice that one point
