Odysseus Action In Homer's Odyssey
In the story Odyssey by Homer Odysseus action against the wooers and the people that were involved were justified. The wooers technically exiled there king. Then the wooers wanted to get rid of everything and everyone who were loyal to Odysseus and they wanted to cover up that Odysseus was actually gone.

First in the beginning it said that Odysseus was thrown out of the ship that just tells you that something is going on there is something that someone wanted to do because if they wanted to throw the king overboard. Either they wanted to get rid of the king so they can be on top or they wanted it to look like the king went missing wait and then have power over the people. This is evidence on how the wooers wanted to get rid of odysseus …show more content…
To add to this point the wooers knew that the handmaidens were loyal to Odysseus so the wooers had the handmaidens hung for treason against them. This explain how his action were justified because the wooers wanted to get rid of evidence.

Finally when the wooers found out that there job wasn't done they tried to cover it up by saying that the gods are pulling tricks on you and when they could keep a grasp on the people they still had who still had loyalty with Odysseus they were planning on killing them so they could have the ultimate coverup kill Penelope, kill Telemuches, and finally kill Odysseus. The only way that they were going to be able to kill these people is kill them on the holy holiday that is really only holy to Apollo the god of the sun. This also explains how the wooers wanted to get rid of the evidence
