aim and introduction briefly state purpose + scope of practical. do not include detailed information about method. state what you investigated. give background information. 50-70 words
theory Expand on introduction to focus on underlying scientific principles. References to any relationships with any other scientific principles basically explain the theory behind it

method set out procedure you followed: specify materials, equiptment, also what you did with them. easy stuff. use diagrams if needed. 100-150 words
results present findings and observations: *present appropriate raw data *include clear labelled diagrams *calculate results from raw data *present derived results in tables/graphs as appropriate (derived results = results) *write brief description of results present logically without interpretation or comment. raw data organise it in systematic format, ie table.
