Of Mice And Men Relationships Essay
Relationships are one of the main themes, in the novel of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. In life I have learned friendship and good relationships are very important, without relationships life would be boring and dull. I was asked to choose what relationship I most value in life, and I chose my best friend Ashley. Lennie and George the main characters in the book in my opinion have a very strong relationship, Just like me and ashley they are willing to do anything for each other to the point where george for the better good has to make the decision to shoot lennie. He didn’t want to but he did so that lennie didn’t have to suffer.
The friendship I have with Ashley hasn’t been easy, just like lennie and george's never was. But we always end up getting over ourselves, and forgive each other. I really value Ashley because she is always there for me no matter what, if i’m having a bad day or just not in a good mood. I hope that the relationship I have with her will last forever, I honestly can’t imagine living life without her everyone needs a best friend, I got lucky and found a really good one. These past couple of years i've

Ashley means the world to me sometimes I don't think she realizes how much she does. I don’t have too many girlfriends I get along with guys better, My mom and sister are the same way don’t ask me why, I think maybe because we don’t have the patience for all the drama girls have. Anyhow I am very grateful for the friends and relationships I do have, like Ashley in my opinion a few really good friends is better than a lot of bad ones. Essentially In life relationships are what keeps people from dieing or in other words becoming depressed. I think maybe that's why ashley is so important to me I need her to be happy, Maybe Lennie and George needed each other for the same reason to live and generally be

Almost everyone has had a friend or a loved one in their lifetime. However, there are those less fortunate who lack both, making loneliness the biggest hole to fill in their hearts. Without others, they will have to bear their own burdens and survive in the world using their own instincts. Steinbeck’s personal interpretation on social inclusion and social isolation leans more on the pessimistic side, portraying the idea that society and connections with others are the controlling factors of a person’s positive or negative outlook on life. In Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck shows good examples of social isolation affecting humanity and exposing how helpless and pathetic people can become without relations. No matter how strong or prosperous people are, Steinbeck shows what becomes of people when loneliness manipulates their attitude towards life.…
