OFFICE ART MEMO 2
The three impressionist painting I choose is Dance Class by Edgar Degas, Lunchon of the Boating Party by Piette Augustine Renoir, and Sunrise, by Claude Monet. The three post-impressionist I chose is The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, The Peppermint Bottle by Paul Cézanne and Memory of the Garden at Etten, Women of Arles by Vincent van Gogh.
To Mrs. Nichols, President and CEO, this memorandum contains information about the art selections for the office. I have chosen six pieces of impressionist and post-impressionist art and have added a description of each painting. I would like to place all of the paintings in the corporate board room, the community room, and main entrance and in the CEO’s office. The first impressionist art that I chose Ballet Class by Edgar Degas is oil on canvas painting. In the painting a young ballerina wearing a yellow bow on her tutu performs an arabesque on point, while two other dancers practice their arm positioning in the floor length mirror behind her. The mirror seems to open up the composition. An older female chaperone is in a chair reading in the foreground. Two dancers are standing next to the chaperone. The entire center portion of this painting is deliberately left empty. The second impressionist art is Luncheon of the Boating Party, by Pierre Augustine Renoir. “In this painting Renoir’s added a lot more details that included groups of people relaxing and enjoying food, drink and conversation. He also included landscape and still life”. (artble.com) The third impressionist is Sunrise, by Claude Monet. “The brilliant orange of the rising

25-4 This guidance addresses what constitutes minimum lease payments under the minimum-lease-payments criterion in paragraph 840-10-25-1(d) from the perspective of the lessee and the lessor. Lease payments that depend on a factor directly related to the future use of the leased property, such as machine hours of use or sales volume during the lease term, are contingent rentals and, accordingly, are excluded from minimum lease payments in their entirety. (Example 6 [see paragraph 840-10-55-38] illustrates this guidance.) However, lease payments that depend on an existing index or rate, such as the consumer price index or the prime interest rate, shall be included in minimum lease payments based on the index or rate existing at lease inception; any increases or decreases in lease payments that result from subsequent changes in the index or rate are contingent rentals and thus affect the determination of income as accruable. (Example 7 [see paragraph 840-10-55-39] illustrates this guidance.)…

Impressionism was the late 19th-century art movement that sought to capture a fleeting moment, thereby conveying the elusiveness and impermanence of images and conditions (Kleiner, 2013, p. 1087). In late 1841 and the beginning 1843, the invention of paint in metal tubes was invented. This allowed the artists to transport the paints and paint out in the outdoors and paint instead of being shut off in the studio (Sayre, 2011, p. 1020). The three painter of this era that is essential to understanding this period is Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, and James Whistler.…

Impressionism influenced the emergence of Postimpressionism which was similar to its predecessor still being of everyday outdoor scenes and artists expressed themselves freely in the art.
