Oklahoma City Thunder’s star player Russell Westbrook registered his second consecutive triple-double game performance of the league’s young season against the visiting Los Angeles Lakers at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Sunday evening.
Westbrook, who tied Magic Johnson’s 18-career triple-doubles last season, scored 33 points, 16 assists and 12 rebounds in their 113-96 routing of the Luke Walton-headed ballclub. The two-time NBA All-Star Game MVP’s stat lines for that night were also the game’s highest.
