Okonkwo: Archetype

I like how you effectively explained the deeper meaning of both of the archetypes you found in the novel. One thing I found interesting is that we both used the color red as an archetype, however they were both in completely different contexts. I found that the red walls in Okonkwo's household held the archetypal meaning of power and represents the power Okonkwo holds in his society. You used the color red differently which was very interesting to read. You used the red in the blood to represent violence and the cowardliness of Okonkwo's father. I also think you analyzed the meaning of the archetype very well when you said "darkness represents evil, death and the unknown". The term "unknown" is very powerful and is very meaningful to connecting
