Okonkwo had anger towards the missionaries. The reason for this is that Umuofia is believing the white people which are the missionaries. Okonkwo does not want Umuofia to go with them that's why Okonkwo has anger toward the white people. When Okonkwo is anger he does think stuff through. Since he doesn't think he gets angry and causes him to kill what ever makes him angry. When he killed the messenger that led to possible war. Therefore Okonkwo did not think before acting, he let anger take over. The third demise of Okonkwo passing is selfishness not being open to people. One reason for Okonkwo’s selfishness is killing the white man. With no doubt he wanted Umuofia for himself because if the tribe believe the missionaries they will all go be against him. Still Okonkwo will fight to have them all of possible death. Okonkwo also led the possible of war and danger in his tribe. Okonkwo knew if he kill him there will be war that is way he kill himself. From there on selfishness, disappointment and anger all follows Okonkwo death.
