Everyone wants to climb the top of the mountain. But all the happiness really happens while climbing it.
Goodbye high school era, hello college life! But before the next milestone starts I still have seventy plus days to drain. And how should a soon to be freshman in college spend those days? Should I make myself more active on social media sites? Do I need to join various orientations or attend review classes? How about going out, like go to beaches, resorts or any place that I can find peace and serenity? Or should I rather chill and relax at our house to reminisce everything before I leave?
Questions flooded, but answers are kept. Well not anymore for the next paragraphs will make that part simple and clear.
First few weeks were spent normally, just like any other students who really waited for this vacation to come. And what will you expect, I watched television all day, when I’m in the mood I surfed through the net, slept as late as possible, likewise woke up until I fulfilled my sleeping needs, and of course, ate like no one cares.
Here comes the filling part for my summer vacation. In 20 working days, I joined the Special Program for the Employment of Students, SPES for short, a program brought by the Department of Social Welfare Development or DSWD in accordance to the Republic Act 7323.
Maybe it sounds that it will end as fast as the snap of our fingers, but actually those days felt longer than anyone can ever imagine. I found myself working with other people, get to know them all, and do everything the administrators command you to accomplish. I experienced to work as a government employee, and I’m going to tell you it was never been that easy, you'll need to exert super duper more effort and strictly obey their rules and regulations so that you can earn a great evaluation at the end of the said program.
What will I earn from there? A salary of about 6000 pesos and don't expect that it was given right away. I think
