On the Spot Poster Making Contest

I. Definition and Objective

Science on the spot poster making contest is a friendly competition among students by making a visual (poster) that expresses their opinions, analyzation and reaction about a certain theme, topic or question given by the contest conductor/conductress at a specific time. This contest also requires the students to think and create under time pressure. Science poster making contest aims for the students’ to use their knowledge, understanding and awareness in creating their visuals (posters) to raise other students or people’s knowledge, understanding and awareness about the significant theme, topic or question whenever and wherever they go. This contest also aims for the students (representatives) to develop a fast thinking and critical mind by giving the topic on the spot and giving them a specific span of time in doing their visual (poster).

II. Mechanics

a. This contest is open for all pair of students from grade 7, grade 8, grade 9 and 4th year students in CCSHS.
b. Each section shall have only one pair of students as their section’s representative. (If a section is not sending a representative or not joining this contest, one representative should talk to the contest conductor/conductress beforehand.)
c. Each section’s representatives shall create and make their own visual (poster) about the given theme, topic or question under the time allotted for them. After the given time, all the representatives shall pass their work to the assigned collector.
d. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
e. Each representative shall have their own materials.

III. Participants

Each section in each grade and year in CCSHS shall have only one pair of students
