In the jury room it is a plan, bare and empty room with just one table in the middle. This shows that there is nowhere to hide it is also the hottest day of the year which can also show the tension in the room. Where as in ‘On the Waterfront’ you see many different techniques used there is one part where you see Terry Malloy standing out the front of the church in a blanket of fog sitting over him this can show his unclearness of what to do. You see Father Barry standing by his side almost trying to guide him through the fog. You also see the community looking up to the gang members which shows how the town is run and how everyone is stuck in society by the way Johnny Friendly and his gang run the town. There also some similarities you see between the two such as how the jurors are locked into the jury room just like how in ‘On the Waterfront’ are locked into how society
