CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION

Technology results computerization which has been a common part of our everyday needs in this world. Rapid advances in technology have helped to meet these demands of society. Online Grading System is designed to provide incentive reward for achievement and assist in identifying problems of the student. Grading System is the most commonly used in computing and analyzing the performance, talent and skills of students. It is the important record to keep even for the longest time for the referral and credentials of the student to enter their next level of attaining their goals. It is the tract record that recognizes of one student, this maybe use for analyzing of your attitude and values. Assessment for Enrollment and Subject Reservation is designed to provide at ease and faster step for enrollment.

1.1 Background of the Problem

STI College – Recto Inc. is a 11-year old institution that still uses a manual system during grading, assessing and subject reservation procedure. Their grading, assessing and subject reservation system is quite old enough for today’s technology; the said processes are not that fast enough for each procedure. This produces inconvenience to the enrollees because it takes hour/s per enrollee to finish the steps in enrolling if they are old students. In effect, enrollees take a lot of time to complete the task. It takes an average of an hour/s for the old student and much easier for the new enrollees to finish the enrolment procedures.

1.2 Overview of Current State Technology

STI College Recto is using Omega Kiosk for the viewing of grades and student’s accountability. In viewing of the grades and the accountabilities, the student will visit the Omega Kiosk System in the school located at the 2nd floor. The student will enter his student identification number (SIN) then press enter. After entering, the Kiosk will show the student’s grade in the first tab and accountability in the second
